The photo gallery that is reachable via the website
at 175moonlight.com is actually hosted on a home
computer.  The 175moonlight.com site is hosted by
by Astragate a.k.a. WebHostingWholesale.com, but
quite honestly we are not paying them for enough
storage space for all of the pictures, etc. that we would
like to display.  Given there is plenty of storage space
on the computers at home, the thought was to try to
make use of that as opposed to paying for more space
at a remote location.

The gallery is hosted on an old PC running VectorLinux.
Hey, we might as well make use of the old boat anchor!

There is also a "poor man's dynamic DNS" set up on the same
same box that hosts the photo gallery.  It's a script that checks
what IP address is currently assigned by the ISP and compares
it to the address used by 175moonlight.com to point to the
photo gallery.  If it sees a difference, i.e. the address has changed,
it sends the new address to 175moonlight.com, and presto, the
web site is back to pointing to the correct address for the photo
gallery.

The plan is to provide instructions here on how to set up
a web server (both in Windows and in Linux) and create
a photo gallery.  It's easier than you might think.
